ABOUT THIS COURSE

Recitation is a skill of the tongue — and of the heart

Most online Qur’an courses move students through rules quickly, without checking whether the tongue has actually changed. The Ijazah Path is built the opposite way around: we don’t move to a new rule until your teacher can hear it applied correctly, unprompted, three sessions in a row.

You’ll begin with Makharij al-Huruf — the precise articulation points of each letter — before touching a single Tajweed rule. From there, the course moves through Noon and Meem rulings, Madd, Waqf, and Qalqalah, always inside real Surahs rather than isolated drills, so what you learn sticks the first time.

“My daughter went from reading Arabic letter-by-letter to reciting Surah Yaseen with proper Madd and Ghunnah in eight months. Her teacher never let a mistake pass — but she never made her feel rushed either.”

— Parent of a 9-year-old student, Ijazah Path

BY THE END OF THIS COURSE

What you'll walk away with

Six concrete outcomes your teacher measures you against — not vague promises.

01

Precise Makharij

Every Arabic letter articulated from its correct point, confirmed live by your teacher, not self-assessed.

02

Full Tajweed Fluency

Confident, automatic application of Noon & Meem rulings, Madd, Qalqalah, and Waqf — while reciting at speed.

03

Ijazah in Hafs 'an Asim

A certified, chain-linked Ijazah issued after a full oral assessment with your instructor.

04

Melodious Recitation

An introduction to Maqamat so your recitation carries the tone and rhythm of trained Qurra’.

05

Independent Reading

The ability to open any Mushaf and read correctly on the first attempt, without teacher prompting.

06

A Foundation for Hifz

Recitation clean enough that memorisation, if you choose to pursue it next, starts from solid ground.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Five stages, one continuous path

Tap any stage to see what’s covered. Your teacher won’t move you forward until it’s actually mastered.

01 Makharij al-Huruf — Letter Articulation

4–6 weeks

Every one of the 29 Arabic letters, isolated at its exact articulation point. Covers throat, tongue, and lip letter groups; common confusions (Dhad/Dha, Ha/Kha); live correction every session.

02 Sifaat al-Huruf — Letter Characteristics

3–4 weeks

The qualities that give each letter its true sound — heaviness, lightness, and emphasis. Covers Tafkheem & Tarqeeq (heavy/light letters), Qalqalah letters and their bounce, whispered vs. voiced letters.

03 Core Tajweed Rulings

8–10 weeks

The rules that govern fluent, correct recitation across any Surah. Covers Noon Sakinah & Tanween rulings, Meem Sakinah rulings, Madd (elongation) — all categories.

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

Not another Qur'an app with a teacher attached

Three decisions we made early on that shape every class you’ll take.

Mastery-paced, not calendar-paced

You move forward only once your teacher hears it applied correctly.

Same teacher, every class

No rotating instructors — one teacher who knows your specific habits.

A chain-linked Ijazah, not a badge

Certificates carry a documented Sanad, issued after a full oral assessment.

Scheduling across every time zone

Teachers online from early morning to late night, seven days a week.
